QUESTION ON EXPLORER SE AND SOVEREIGN GT

Both great machines, and have owned both! Personally I would keep the SE just because I have had more luck with it. But the Sovereign is a great machine too.

What do you intend to find and where are you hunting? I dont use the Sov, but do use the Xcal.... and i contiplated selling my SE and getting a Sov for the beach, but the Xcal isnt as deep on a Fl beach with no minerals..... add minerals and the SE is a darn good machine ... with a TID i might add. I do like the tones thou on the Xcal when it comes to nickels and small gold items. But.... on silver none better than the Explorer.
