Question on Excal II

G. Edwards

New member
The Exacl II comes with a wide scan or DD coil, When in all metal does that make the scan area smaller, and does it make any difference on coil coverage? Thanks, Gene

Gene a widescan and DD are the same. In all metal you get a more defined line of detection, in disc its broader. coverage is the same width wise but I find the depth a bit more in all metal. its easier to size a target in all metal/pinpoint mode.

If youve ever used a Sov its the same.

Neil

For me All metal is more of a Deeper, Diffused field reaching out from the circumference of the coil..........Nice Hot streak! Congrats on the Silvers..Joe
