Question on depth meter AT PRO

I am in the process of trading my V3i for a new At Pro I had a pro years ago and like the simplistic way it handles and works My question is the depth meter on the pro does the coil size and configuration affect the depth read out? On my V you set the coin in use in the menu and this he helps in giving the correct reading on the depth reading. on the pro I guess you just change coils and the pro does the rest.

The electronics compensate for the different size coils. You most accurate depth reading will be on coin sized targets in pinpoint mode.

Thanks John that is what I sort of thought it did. Well I just got home from the detector shop about a hour ago with my new AT Pro I traded my two year old V3i of for the Pro with both DD coils and the super sniper coil
Now I am waiting for the weather to warm up some so I can get out and enjoy my new machine.
so sad to see we lost Charles this year we both were born the same year so I guess it happens to all of us sooner or later. Have a good one
