Question on CZ-6

Is there anyone that knows about the short cord you plug headphones into on the CZ-6 can this be altered to make it longer? Im afraid from swinging detector that cord will wear out in use. Any ideas? Thank you, Dan

Honestly never heard of anyone having problems with the pigtail but the molded plug on the coil that connects to the control box was a problem with the CZ6...Fisher indeed can eliminate the pigtail and put on a convential plug such as the CZ6A or CZ5...have no idea of cost but would not worry about it as pigtail rarely failed...

No I dont wish I knew. I just boutght a CZ-6 here used is it a good detector? Find alot with it? Dan
