Question on CTX 30-30

Is it a PI or a VLF Detector???? Thanks,

So its a VLF with PI Deepth?????

The CTX 3030 is based on FBS2 technology which implements multiple frequency rectangular-wave transmission (1.5 kHz

So iLL take that as a yes right Digger????? Thanks Mickfin,

uummmm that would be a "no" not VLF, Not PI it's in a class all it's own,,, called FBS , and this is ML second generation of it so it's FBS2,,,,, IMHO

I suppose it is closer to being a VLF than it is a PI, because of the transmission and processing characteristics. However, the CTX operates at multiple frequencies, has rectangular sine waves, and operates at frequencies not normally associated with VLF detectors.

This is an o'scope picture of the transmitted FBS signal of an ETrac. The transmitted signal for Explorers and CTX3030 are identical.

Thank you all 4R your replys, Mickfin
