I'm considering purchasing a straight shaft for my excal 1000. I've noticed that there are several offerings on ebay. Most are in the $70-$80 range. Also listed is the Anderson Shaft Extension item no. 200165531946, which, according to the seller, is attached directly to the S rod and uses the arm cuff bolt to secure it. It is offered "buy it now" for only $29.99 plus shipping. Can you experienced Excal users who use a straight shaft advise me on what you consider the best to buy and if anyone out there is using the Anderson Shaft Extension, can you please give us your perception of the product?
