Question on 8" coil

Jonny, I use an Ex II and find that I can get closer to chain link fences, metal swing set posts, etc. in playgrounds and yards with a concentric coil versus a DD coil. Much less interference with the concentric coil. I believe this is the only coil made for the Explorer/E-Trac that is of concentric design. As I typically do not search super old sites (100+ years), I haven't seen any great advantage with depth over a DD coil, just better at getting closer to metal fences and poles. Hope this helps.....

Is there a difference in how the 8cc handles iron? I know on most detectors a 2d ussaully changes good disc on iron to a broken sound.thank you,Joe
