Hello all,
I have been using an ML excalibur for a lot of years and previously did a lot of water detecting.
Now I live in Missouri and do mostly land detecting.
I've never seen an x-terra 70 other than pics.
I am wondering about the tones.
Recently I have had some hearing loss and I can't pick out silver tones on the excal very well any more.
Is the x-terra 70 variable tone like the excal?
I know it has a meter which should help I'm sure -- in 30+ years detecting I have never had a meter...
Guess I'm not much of a meter guy.
I'm thinking about trading my excal off and going for an x-terra ---
mostly because I can't afford an explorer and the x-terra seems like the next best machine.
Anyone got some other thoughts ?
throw them at me as all input is appreciated !!
Have a great day !
Mike
