Question: Is the Minelab Advantage a silent search Detector

i just bought one and notice it doesn;'t have a threshold it works just fine also it says threshold reset on it why would it have that if there is no threshold. Thank you

The musketeer detector is a silent search detector.
In disc or all metal mode there is no threshold.
The threshold reset is used when you are in pinpoint mode and want to decrease the sensitivity to locate a target.
Disc mode is much deeper than all metal also in case you haven't discovered that yet.
They are good machines and still have folks looking for them.
Only thing I have found negative about the machine is it loves crown type bottle caps.
If you have a manual for it, it explains how to adjust the ground balance which is a little tricky at first without a threshold tone.
Hope this helps out some in your question.
