Question. How many coils are there now for the x Terra 70 thanks n/t

3 nine " concentric coils 1 at 3KHz, 1 at 7.5KHz, 1 at 18.75KHz. 1 5x10 DD coil at 18.75KHz. I hunt with the 18.75 5x10 DD most all the time. Excellent coil and works great. They have a new 6" coil that they are testing over in Ireland and should be ready pretty soon . I think it is a round DD like the 7.5KHzM/L coil. Not sure, just what I have heard. Even the dealers are keeping quiet about it. I for one am interested in hearing some opinions. :)

:)Hello all,
Does anyone have a source for the 10x5 DD or any of the DDs available? I have looked on the web but can not find any that is specifically for the X-70.
I would appreciate any help anyone can provide.
Thank you,
Tom Lambert

Maybe Digger (Randy) or Mike Bearden know what it weights. I know it swings real easy. I sealed the hell out of mine and it has been in the water a lot shallow water wading and works great. It floats but you really don't notice that too much. Later Jerry aka Tinfoil

Thanks Jerry

Thanks,

on my modified Classic III SL and modified IDX Pro, and sometimes the 5" on the Shadow X5. It's been especially hot (very hot) and conditions are dry (very dry and hard) at most local schools and parks and such, so I have been working renovation sites most of the time.

Torn-up sidewalks and streets, torn-down house sites, and then getting into the dense brush for some shade and 'bushwhacking' in some of the older parks that have been favorites through the years. Way too much trash, way too many nails and other smaller iron junk, way too brushy and a lot of clumpy ground and/or debris to use an 8" or 9" or larger coil.

So, I have to go with what I have and what works. No small coil yet for the X-Terra's and that's a shame. Most of us, I feel, prefer to have a smaller-than-stock coil(s) than larger ones, and I know some folks have become very frustrated not having that option yet. let's hope we see one soon!
