yes i had mine on our beach here in Ga yesterday.it did better than i expected! i thought it would false bad at wet salt sand,but it didn't until i hit the water.then i had to turn sensitivity down some.depth was not great.about 6" max.long way from my GT that hits dimes at 15".but it did work here.
