I moved this post from our FAQFAQ section. It appears to be new member who just purchased a 505, and wants to know if there is anyone in the Newport, Oregon area who could offer some assistance. I just bought a X-terra 505 for use on the Oregon Coast in Newport. Is there anyone in the area with local knowledge and experience with an X-terra?
 
There are some Oregon members in here some where.
Try posting the same ? down in the Metal Detecting general area and the Prospecting area If you can't find any one in here.
