Is the holiday travel park of Virginia Beach as nice as it looks on the web site?
it's just off the junction of Birdneck Road and General Booth Blvd. From exit 22.
I'm coming over there next year after Labor day, and as near as I can make out, its close to Virginia Beach beach, and lookseasy to get to.
Anyone able to tell me about it? thx. Jim

My sister and brother in law pull there trailer there a couple of times a year and they live here!

being a cheap skate, I'll show up after Labor day, but I will stay for a month, unless the weather goes totally nuts.

Can't say for sure if it's nice or not, but it is close !!!
I'm 2 miles away from the campground over by Dam Neck base in Pine Meadows neighborhood. 5am in the morning, it takes me maybe 7 minutes to get to the oceanfront, so even less for you.

After Labor Day is a great time, all the tourists are gone and the beach is still warm as ever! Still plenty of targets as well unless we get sanded-in as we are now, just need a good storm to get it out of here.

He called me yesterday, said he was beat from hunting and driving up north.
I tried to encourage him to make it over To Virginia Beach. Don't know if he did or not.
they're planning on coming back home starting sunday.
I wouldn't get that close and not stop for a couple of days.
Ah well. Today I have exactly 10 weeks left to work!!
Wife says I'm beginning to act squirrelier than usual, Ya think???

I know my way around A1A down in Hollywood Florida well enough to get around. Makes things a lot less stressful, a wrong turn isn't a big deal, etc.
I've been looking forward to coming over to Virginia Beach for several years.
You all will definitely get a chance to meet me next year.
Time to get ready for winter now.
