Question for the Tiger Shark folks

Well, my Excal's battery pod got cracked & water got in & cooked it, grabbed my xs Explorer this morning for a back up to hit low tide. Got to the beach & it quit working before I got started. I've found a TS on CL here for 500 obo. Thinking of checking it out today.
How do these machines perform on land? I've only used the xlt & xs in the dirt. I figure my Excal's good for the surf. Just looking at a Tesoro for land hunting & sometimes wet sand.

The tiger shark does well on land to but it's sensitive to the foil and pull tabs but I like to hip mount it for both land and water, it does have a ground balance to it so amphibious all the way with adjustable discrimination to boot, sorry to hear about your machine break downs, a better reason to buy a Tesoro !
