I order my detector Firday. I was thinking of put the Sun Ray on it. Is this a good or bad idea? Thanks Brothers !!

I have EX-II. Been detecting over 25 years with different machines. I just recently got into the pinpointers and now it's a must have for me. I have handhelds (vibraprobe 560 popular) and my explorer has the sunray probe. It integrates with the existing machine - nice too. In addition, I use the sunray X-5 stealth coil for high trash areas.
No regrets here...

explorer II and like it. The only thing I dont like is its range is to long. If you have a small hole its sometimes hard to tell what side the target is on. I still carry my merlin probe and will sometimes use both

investments you can make to go along with the SE. Try the 4 x 7 excelerator coil too if you can. I hunt with it over the stock coil. It separates like you wouldn't believe and it almost matches the depth of the stock 10" DD coil.
Take care

It is the best! :)
