Question for Tesoro Experts.

How does the original Golden Saber II compare to the Golden U-Max as for depth and target separation, etc. Anyone who has use the Golden Sabre II, info would be appreciated.

Hay Prospector,

Monte is an expert on Tesoro detectors. I Trust his judgement on most anything about Tesoro detectors.

Here is what he said about tha Golden Sabre II:

[size=medium]I prefer the Pantera, or the Golden Sabre II (Pantera circuit board but in a 'turn-on-and-go" configuration)
over the newer Golden

Well i've never tried the golden sabre but I do have the new golden umax and I really like it this is my opinion once you get use to the tones, to me it's an awesome unit and far as the notch i finaly found where i can disc out pull tabs and still keep nickels, now this is just my opinion if people took the time and patience with these, i think you might see people change there tune a little bit I will say that i don't find to be a depth monster by no means but i'm going to try the 12 x 10 coil on it and see if there is a difference, now being stock I actually find my silver to be deeper or at least in my ground anyways but all in all a great machine. I will keep you posted what i find out with the 12 x 10 coil on the golden.
