Question for Rick Martin

Rick I notice that the coin picture I posted on Friday 30th November on this forum is not now visible. Also I recently posted a picture on the DFX Classroom forum that was apparently visible to some members of the forum ( including myself) but other members were unable to see it.
I guess I might be doing something wrong for this to happen but as the pictures are successfully posted initially can you explain any possible cause. Many thanks.

From what we've seen they either scramble the name or block the transfer almost immediately. I think you can see it if you already stored it in your temporary internet files but even that I'm not sure on. We're working on a picture forum to allow you to upload a picture to our server with every post. Stay tuned. Most Internet providers give you about 5 megs of space to put up your own website as part of the deal. You need to get yourself an FTP program to allow you to upload your pictures from your hard drive. Your provider should tell you what and where your site is. (Name and how to enter it to get the pics up and the URL they end up going by.) Hope that helps. Maybe someone here will give you a few examples to get you going.
Thanks,
Guvner..

I would be happy to go through file transfer protocol (ftp) procedures with anyone who uses AOL. It is easy to do, and the pictures don't disappear. You can use the same procedure with other providers, but I use AOL so I am familiar with their process. If anyone is interested, let me know.
