Question for Pro users in beach salt water

TRIPLE-SSS

Well-known member
I've had my AT_pro since Christmas and love the way it performs.I primarily hunt at the beach in dry sand and wet sand up to about ankle deep water. I have on occasion tried it in about knee deep water and it seems a little sluggish with the stock coil that came with the unit. I'm a little leery taking it out to waist deep water and fully submerging the unit hours at a time.I do understand that it won't perform like the units specifically made for water hunting for over 100 plus feet. When you do use your PRO in the water, do you use the stock coil ? What are some of the pro and cons based on your personal experiences. I guess I'm a little reluctant going through the hassle of sending my unit back to Garrett if it does start taking on water. I'm ready to go for broke but would like to get some good advice before taking the plunge.

Would appreciate some honest reviews
Thanks TRIPLE-SSS
