Question for Monte...

What did Tesoro do to make the Tejon discriminate in hot ground at extreme depths per the two tesoro field testers. You have no agenda, any ideas??? I did not reach that conclusion with the first unit I had.

The one from texas said that he was digging buttons & bullets at beyond a foot and the targets were discriminating just fine at those depths. The kicker is that this supposedly took place at Brandy Station....C'mon now, that's impossible at that site. The question I have is why Jack & James Gifford allows them to rant unfettered <img src="/metal/html/shrug.gif" border=0 width=37 height=15 alt=":shrug">:

Some folks are claiming that it can 'see' through a line of 6 rusty nails placed 1/2" apart 3" above a Dime, and is able to detect the Dime.
Run, don't walk, and get one for yourself!!

the other tester was in Wisconsin. Now while there is some hot ground in the far north of wisconsin the rest (majority) of the state is just moderately mineralized. The field testers you mention are compensated by Tesoro and one owns a forum (t-depot) with Tesoro as a sponsor and the other is a Tesoro dealer. Don't put anymore faith in those field reports than you would in the field tests in the magazines. Like ANY of the detectors out there some work better an one area than another and many have found the same result you did with your Tejon in their area. It's a decent unit but the hype when it came out was the worst and most ridiculus I've ever seen and the consruction quality was not top of the line but seems to have gotten better.
Just my humble opinion, ArtWI

(and I have) will tell you that's just plain BS! The same as Jimmy I wonder why Tesoro lets the BS hype continue on and on!
