Question for Monte......

.....or anyone else with Tesoro spec knowledge as thorough as his. Could you list all the Tesoro machines (current and discontinued) that utilize the ED-180 discrimination? I tried to Google the info with little success.
Also, would there be any disadvantages to slapping a CleanSweep coil on my Stingray II? It would require an adapter, correct? Would I be able to maintain my waterproof connection in that case?
thanks and HH,
Andy

The Clean sweep will work great on your Tiger shark or the Stingray.
Now... They Did make a Clean Sweep to fit those machines... but they are hard to come by. You can also purchase and adapter to run the Umax CS on your machine. The Connector is not waterproof tho. I managed to find a kit to waterproof my connector for deep wading that works well. I do not know the brand because I bought it used and not in the pkg.
This set up works great on Freshwater beaches where items are not really deep or to do a fast scan of an area to see what mite be found. Expected depth is around 5-6 inches in most soils with proper ground balance.
Hope this helps... Good Luck
