<STRONG>"would like your opinion."</STRONG>... Naturally, opinions can differ, but I try to look at things objectively and put myself in the other's place.
<STRONG>"i have a silver sabre i bought new in 1986."</STRONG>... I take it you are referring to the 'original' Silver Sabre. That model came stock with a 7" coil. Is that the coil you have been using?

thanks monte yes my silver sabre has the 7" coil. actually my wife will be the one using the silver umax if i decide to get that one. she only will be using it at the beach mostly on dry sand and on wet sand if possible. our old sabre weighs about 3 lbs. and the umax is a little over 2 lbs. which would be a plus. just curious. would the conquistor go deeper than the silver umax. thank you very much for taking the time to reply. mac

Well I not had my Sliver long but so far I love it, next is the CSC which as we know now this is a very good combo to use at the beach. You can't go wrong with the Sliver or the Conquistado. I went with Sliver since I don't need the exter bells the Conquistado has but that's just me <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">
