Question for John-Edmonton

Hello John,
I have noticed you use your Ace with the 4.5 inch sniper coil and the 1350 GTI with larger coils. Does the Ace have an advantage with the sniper over the 1350 GTI with a sniper. What makes a good sniper setup. I own the 1350 GTI.

Thanks billm :ausflag::garrett:

The ACE 250/sniper coil gets great depth. I always take it along now when doing play equipment areas or relic hunts. The reason? Both coils work great in the conditions they were designed for. Hunting near play equipment requires a coil that can get close to the metal equipment, or in the woods, in real tight spots infested with tree saplings. The Stock coil covers the rest of the areas and gives the required depth to find the remaining targets. A lot of areas were only hunted with the stock coils or larger, so the tight spots are still available for the sniper coil. Taking both machines allows me to switch coils instantly, and the ACE 250 is so light that it is not a significant problem to tag along.
