Question for John Edmonton

John to get the most out of my Scorpion Gold Stinger for general hunting in parks etc, what settings do you reccomend? Is there any way of caliberating the depth on the depth guage? If I wanted to look only for Gold at the beach would I use the all metal setting and manual ground balance it? Thanks, Dan

If you want to look gold on the beaches, go in all metal and dig everything. Gold is rarely found in its purest form, so it can show up as a pulltab or coin. All metal will give you the greatest depth. Make sure you ground balance the machine. I would hunt parks, probably in motion discriminate, as you can discriminate out metal. Hope this helps. Please read and re-read your manual. Good luck Dan! <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
