Hi, I have been using the X-Terra 705 now since the end of November 2011, seems like a lot longer, found plenty of goodies. I will be working a small beach here tomorrow well before the low tide so I can work down into it. I want to ask The Digger what the difference between the #1 and #3 Discriminating Patterns are? I normally use #1 and pretty much dig anything that sounds solid and some that sound strange. Rick
