Noticed you use the 70 and cibola. I have it's brother the vaquero, have you found stuff with the 70 you missed with the cibola or vise versa. You can pm if you like. Thanks

Actually I have a vaquero and the X-70. I have had the 70 now since Augest of 07, and the Vaquero since April of 08. I bought the Vaquero because I felt I was missing things. I was only digging "good ID #'s" with the 70. I would get low ID # and tend to ignore them. The 70 is a fantastic coin shooter, silver finder. I was not having much luck with older coins and jewelery. I really was not finding much other stuff besides a ton of clad.

I bought the Vaquero to let me be the desion maker not the ID screen. I really like the Vaquero. I have found as many (3) silver coins in one month with it as I had in 7 months with the 70. I also have found my 1st gold with the Vaquero. I re checked it with the 70 to just see what it came in at. It was a 10-11. I am not real sure I would have dug it with those numbers? Any how I plan on keeping both detectors. I like using the 70 when I want to hunt coins. The Vaquero will be used in private yards, tot lots (where I found my gold), and every where else.

I really think each one has its merits. I will say though that the Vaquero is finding its way more and more under my arm, Beale.
