Question for all you nugget chasers----What would be the BEST time of year to go to RYE PATCH/Nevada??

I've been there before,about 6 times,but only in the spring.Is there a better time to visit?As you can see from my post name,I live in Ohio,so it's a serious trip for me.Hopfully, I'll get to pick-up one of the new White's TDI's before I come out.Other wise I'll be using a White's GMT. Bob, the weather around Reno can be windy, cold, snowy or rainy spring, fall or winter...in the summer it can be hot, humid, rainy and sometimes cold and snowy up in the higher elevations. That said, I love the fall from September through November in that country...if you frequent the other forums go to Arizona-outback forum or Bill Southern's forum and ask Reno Chris, he lives and plays in the area...

Hey Bob,
I fully agree with Fred and Grubstake. But to narrow it down I would say the entire month of Oct.
I wish I could spend the whole month there. Good luck to you on your trip.
