Question for all you Excal mechanics out there

Spungehead

I have a shorting problem that I believe lies in the Ikelite plug, more specifically, the male plug (with the negative and positive posts, plus the 3rd pin that is simply for orientation) that plugs directly into the battery pod. I don't think it's in that wire or any other...I think it's in the plug itself. Anyone have any experience with that? I don't think it would be too hard to get a new plug, but how tough would it be to connect a new one to the cable?

thanks for listening, and any info!
Andy
