When bench testing or in the ground will the cross hairs show the samee position with the same target? AND will the crosshair position change when switching from X1 probe toX5 to X8 to 10.5Coils on the same target? Thanks for your input.

If the coins are quite deep the crosshairs may jump around, usually on the right side of the screen. If a coin is near a nail, the ID would probably be more to the left, if it beeped on a coin next to a nail, which it might not in disc. Have to use iron mask -10 to -15 to get coins next to nails. Thats all I can answer as I don't own the other coils or pinpointer. HH, George (MN)

It is so valuable to have a good test garden and they are so easy to make. Just take a selection of coins that you are likely to find and bury them at different depths at about 16-18"apart and mark them with golf tee's. That will help you get used to the tones and help you with your pinpointing. However, you need to let it sit for awhile to develop the halo. Hope this helps HH
