Question Concerning Khouse's Advice on the use of the Sov. Wiggle"

Hi Khouse, In response to a question posted last week concerning Need Tudoring On Iron Signals with the M-6. You replied to I the th, that the "Sov. Wiggle" as referred to by many ML Sov Users, will ID IRON or NULL OUT if the target is IRON or TRASH. Will this method also work to ID NICKELS with questionable ID's? Or IH Pennies with Foil or Questable Penny Readings? MANY THANKS, HH, Les.

Really here's all I know. Sometimes you'll get a good dig beep off the edge of junk. All I'm doing is trying to pinpoint the center of the target (junk or not) then twich the center of the coil over the center of the target to give me the best center of the target response. Sometimes I get a good repeatable dig signal. Other times I may not get a beep at all. Sometimes a jumpy TID or one way beep. I have not used the Sov. But I think it works for most detectors. Just have to try it. This method isn't new. Give it a try and post back.. Good luck!
