Question: Any Of You Seasoned Guys Getting The 250 As A Back-Up Or Spare

It's getting such great reviews. And the price, unbelievable. I always like to have a spare around in case I get some company. I have lots of nieces and nephews who like to go out. Heck, I might just give them the 1500 and use the 250 myself. Keep the reports coming in......

That's why I got mine, as a backup and to just keep around with me for quick hunts. Took it out at the lunch break to a sand playscape. Ended up with 18 coins in an hour. Very light and it belltones on those coins, even the zinc pennies! I did have to back the Sens. way down from the factory setting, but it still got decent depth.
Was using the Jewelry mode and it ID'ed pretty good. No jewelry found, but it was very sensitive to very small stuff. Got a .22 short shell at 6". Kept falling out of my scoop and like to have never found it. Hit solid on small bits of foil at 3-4". Definately a fun little bugger!! And for the bucks, I'm happy.

I have more fun with the 250 than I do with the 1500.
You need to get one John.

I might just call Ronnie and tell him to send me a 250 to play with, just for fun. Hey,for $200 how bad could it be. Probley won't get as much depth as a 1250 but, maybe it will be close. If it will get 8"s on a dime down here in Louisiana it could be a fun machine. If not all I am out is $200. I need a new one to play with. I was really thinking about the 1350 but maybe that one could wait till Christmas. The 250 is a fun machine and as light as a feather. I like its target response and recovery - quick as lightning. You can't swing this puppy fast enough to miss a target. I think you need one under the Xmas tree. You shouldn't be missing out on all the fun.
