Question abut F70 Discrimination settings

I set my disc on the f70 at 6, it shows iron slashed out, then when I exit the menu back to the detecting screen the iron is no longer slashed out and I can pick up items with a value as low as 5...not sure whats going on
 
You might have iron notched back in. Make sure that your iron is notched out in the discriminate mode. Hope this helps...I know I have a problem remembering this with my F75. HH

the problem u r having is because the NOTCH has IRON enabled.

I just confirmed this on my f70.

Goto NOTCH and place the cursor over iron then press MENU

it should all be fine now.

IF NOT, do a factory reset and all will be fine.
