question about wireless headphones from radio shack

will they work on my x-70 this may be a dumb question but do they plug into my detector or do i just put on the headphones and adjust my detector just want to know how to use them what is the cost of the headphones thank you for any info

You'll need a 1/8 to 1/4 inch headphone adapter to adapt your transmitter to the detector jack. Then plug the transmitter into it. Then with velcro attach the transmitter to the back of the control box. Slip the headphones on and turn both units on. There is a volume control on the headset. Nothing to it really. Cost about $70.00 total.

When you buy the adapter, make sure it's one for stereo and not mono. Every thing will work fine. I've been using mine for over a year. Also when you buy it from Radio Shack, spend an extra couple dollars and get the extended warranty. It extends the warranty for a year... It's worth it, if they crap out after the 90 day warranty. My first set did.

It's all in the package. See "What's in the Box"

Just do a search for 33-1253 headset. The transmitter and receiver come in the package. You'll need a 1/8 to 1/4 headphone adapter that is separate.
