Question about Whites Beach Hunter ID mod's.......................

Are there any performance mod's available that anyone knows of? Maybe by the factory? Am in the process of purchasing one (used) and just curious. Thanks to all.

It's a water version of a basic DFX. Well thats a bit out of focus. The basic circuitry is the same as what they designed the DFX on.

It started life as a Minelab 3 frequency design that Minelab sold to Whites. White's changed it over to a 2 frequency unit, and came out with the BeachHunter ID.

It's had a little bad press because the coil floats, and it's not the hottest performer in discriminate mode, but it can ID in the all metal mode, and its not all that bad in that mode. Overall it's not a bad choice, and it will do its owner well.
