Question about warranty...

Greetings,

Back in July, I picked up a second hand Etrac that was advertised "Only used for a few hours..."

When I received it, it was brand spanking new. Not a scratch on it... aside from a few tiny ones under the coil.

The person bought it from said it was under warranty. I never thought much about it, until I noticed the blank warranty card a few weeks ago.

I emailed and called asking for a proof of purchase but they have not replied after many attempts.

Should I send the card in?

There's nothing wrong with my machine, it runs great.... but I feel like I've been ripped off on the warranty side of things by the seller.

Thanks for your help.

They can be registered on line so that may be why warranty card is still in the box.

Fair enough. But, what would I put in the "Purchased from*" box on the online warranty registration if the original seller hasn't provided me with that info. Should I put their info down?

:beers:

bell two is saying the original owner might have registered it online. call minelab with your serial number and they should be able to clear this up.
