is it easier to get depth from the vx3 than the dfx? an whats the compareson results?

The results are night and day. The V series runs circles around the DFX right out of the box. About 8 inches was really good depth for me with the DFX in my ground but I have dug many targets at 10-12 inches with the V. As always, your results may vary.

Not only is it deeper but it will find more small targets and gold. This is due to :
- The higher 22.5 KHz frequency of the "V"
- The DFX runs in Salt Compensate mode which can have a negative impact on low VDI numbers. This is an option on the "V", but the default setting is "Off".
