thak you for that reply. one more question, I have a mxt pro , and does any of the coils for my model work for the beach?
 
The 950 concentric coil should be ok and the 12"..
 
I would agree that the 950 is probably your best bet and the 12" (300 or S12) will work also. The 6x10 DD coil works well at the beach on the MXTand the 4x6DD Shooter and the 5.3 Eclipse both work well around the fire rings where there is usually a lot of nails. About the only coil I'd stay away from on the MXT for beach work would be the D2.
