Question about the headphone inlet hole

Does the normal headphone inlet where you plug in your normal headphones, is there a "Plug" of some kind that would go into it when you want to dunk the unit. Right now it would obviously fill with water and if I lay it down in 2 feet of water must I first plug that hole?

If you are referring to the standard 1/4" adapter module jack...it cannot be made waterproof.

You must first remove the 1/4" adapter module....in the back of the adapter is a black plastic cap that screws into the (now visible) waterproof headphone jack to seal it.

However, people often mistake the 1/4" brass threads that the headphone adapter screws into, as a headphone jack.
