Question about the E-Trac??????????

Wonder if most or a lot of the success of the ET is due to the coil. I just wonder for those that have used other coils on the ET if it performed as well in iron, ect. Seems the coil has a lot to do with it,I just am curious how it does with other coils..thanks

I have several coils and all work well on the E-track. The little sunray 5" is great and the Joey is good when you need to work in the weeds and brush can slide it in and out with out getting it hung like the round coil. The E-Track is so much more stable and keeps a stable threshhold where the Explorer did not.

I been using my SunRay X-8 on mine to help learn it better and it works excellent, even better on the E-Trac then my EX II I use to have. I also got the 15X12 SEF coil and got to try it once before the ground froze and it too work very nice also for a coil that size.
The E-trac is a improvement over the Explores in my opinion, better ID and runs smoother too.

i had the SE with the pro coil and the coil is impressive, but i just moved up the the e-trac (with the same pro coil) and i'll tell you the thing is AMAZING in iron patches

went back over the same iron patches i did with my SE and found lots more coins

take care

I use the Explorer ll with the stock coil and found a indian head penny in the same hole with a railroad spike, It just read the penny on the screen-But the signal was a little broken. Luv these detectors, My XLT would have just picked up the spike.
