Question about the Ace 250

HotTexas

New member
The Ace 250 has a Jewelry mode, what is the difference between it and the coin mode?

Also how well is it for salt water and wet sand?

Thanks
Johnny

In Fl. it will only go 6" on a quarter and 4" on a cent in wet salt sand.
Coin mode has only the US. coins notched in. Jewelry mode only blocks out iron and excepts everything else.

You will then answer your own question. As far as depth goes....it is relative to the soil the target is in. Moisture, mineralization, size of coil, size of target are just some of the factors which will influence the depth.

9x12 coil: First three sections dis. notched out, sens. three/four shy of max.

I've dug Large cents between 3 and 9 inches deep with the above configuration.

Good luck!
