Question About Sweep Speed & Gold

I seen someone at the beach today with a White's machine, he was swinging it like there was no tomorrow! Just how slow do I have to swing my Quatto to be successful? Can I swing it faster than a "snail's pace"?

Haven't seen many pics of gold on this forum... can the quattro really find the gold rings at the beach like so many users of other machines claim? Thanks for the input.

The quattro cetainly can find gold! On my first day out at the beach with my machine (about a year ago now), I found two gold rings, one with six diamonds!
