Question about startup screen on XS

A couple months ago my detector did something weird and I had to reset it or something. I forget what happened exactly, but now everytime I turn it on it starts up in the screen that just shows the smart screen enlarged so that is all you see. No depth meter, sens #'s, etc. I can easily get out of it by clicking detect, but I was just wondering how I could have it not turn on like this automatically. It was never like this until the machine went haywire one day.

. . . . that will return the screen to what you are looking for. Pressing and holding the POWER touchpad until you see factory preset displayed should also solve that problem.

I'll try that out. Thanks. Although holding the power button down is what made it go to this screen in the first place.
