Question about shipping tesoros to tesoro

Got to send in a couple machines next week for tune ups and a little repair.
Just wondering do I need to ship ups or pryority mail,or does it matter?

The 2 times I've sent anything, I used Priority mail, but I don't think it makes a major difference.

It is easier for me to ship pryority since I live out in the sticks.
Thats what I'll do.

I just assume it is always best to send the whole detector so that a problematic part can be identified. or do they really want just the brains?

You can ship UPS or USPS, they usually want control box and coil for adjustments and repairs .To check either one against each other.

Hi Jack, I would guess you mean the "whole detector" to be the control box and coil, since they are the whole detector.Also might be said that if you have more than one coil you can ask that your Machine(Control box) be calibrated(tuned to) so as to give you the best performance with both(or more than 2) coils.Or if you have a primary coil you would rather have it tuned to, you can ask them to do that.Tesoro coil swapping is a really great perk that not many, if any ,other detector mfgs. can offer. This is just plumb great and Tesorio Service does the tuning for us. HH Charlie
