Question about SD Cards...

A

I've bought a Lexar 128 MB SD card for my Kodak camera. Lately, whenever I try to capture some video with the camera, I get an error message that my memory speed is to slow?

Capturing still images is no problem. I've tried this with a new set of batteries, so I can't figure out what the problem is. I was able to capture a lot of video when I first got this camera. Now, I can't.

Did you try to capture video with the Lexar card when you first bought it? If this is the first time trying to capture video with the Lexar card and you can't then the read write speed of the card is to slow for the camera based on your error msg.

minute-long videos with it when I first bought it. Now, after a couple weeks, it won't capture video.

Whenever I move images from the card to my laptop, I'll format the card, usually while it's still in the laptop's cardreader. I've also tried formatting the card in the camera, and I get the same results.
