Question about pinpointing with the CZ-70.............

Has anyone experienced a lag when pushing the pinpoint button to when the pinpoint mode activates? I have been told that after you push the pinpoint button, there is a delay changing into the pinpoint mode. Can anyone comment about this? Is this true? Kelley (Texas)

kelly, the pinpoint button on the cz20 is the biggest repair problem with that machine, and is very expensive to repair, it has a propensity to stick, and when it does you are in for a large repair bill. i hunt with a dozen or so water hunters that use the cz20 and almost to a man, they don't push that button. we just criss cross the target and dig at the point that the target is the loudest, hope this helps you out. hh, bob n.

Bob N, you have that right. I know many that don't use the button at all and just slide the foot near the coil and scoop where the coil was to recover the target.
