Question about mounting Delta 4000 pod on G2 or Omega Rod.

This is a rough translation of a question I was asked from an Italian Teknetics user.

"know if you can put the screen of the delta 4000 teknetics rod of g2 or omega 8000??"

We have some very talented people on this forum..I would bet one of them knows how.

The only discrepancy you may have is the to screws that hold the control box/unit to the rod. The distance may be a bit different but I don't think so since all of the Greek Tek series and the Fisher Gold Bug and F70 use the same plastic outer housing.

One mod note about these units: what would it be like with a "trigger" activated back light on any of the above mentioned detectors? I am working on it now...

Its easily done Neil..
Call FT and tell them you want a Omega rod and Omega housing mounting clip...

Take the 3 screws out of the back of the delta housing and pull apart ...On the back panel there is a clip held in by 2 screws..remove that style clip for the s-pole and replace with Omega style clip in same spot.....now put housing back together and you will have what looks like a popsicle stick sticking out of the bottom of your housing....it will slide right into the pistol handle...roll foam back for handgrip and insert screw and a counter sunk nut to hold it in...

should cost about 25.00 or so dollar's for the setup...
