Minelab can still work on the SE, they support the SE Pro and same parts for Pro work om SE....

Kellyco works on Minelabs. There is also a place in England that does it too if you need the work done quickly.

If you want a rechargeable battery pack I would STRONGLY suggest RnB Innovations ML-3100 Lithium-ion Battery for Minelab FBS Metal Detectors on Amazon.
You can get it for $129.00. It takes about 2 hours to charge and lasts around 30 hours of detecting. The standard rechargeable pack that comes with the Explorer
takes about 8 or so hours to charge and doesn't last too long in the detector.

Tony do you have one of those Lithium packs? If so do me a favor and weigh it thanks.

Hi Charles,
I weighed the RNB Lithium on my postal scales and it weighted 6.5 ounces.
The Minelab rechargeable came in at 9.1 ounces.
That is a weight savings of almost 3 ounces!
