Question about coils

Tledoux

New member
I have noticed the coils for different machines look Identical, If you find one someone has for sale is there a way to know for sure what machine it goes on ? Is the PN stamped on it somewhere?

It is my understanding that the pin connections are important, but also the frequency the coil was intended to be used at. Many detectors operate at different frequencies and having the wrong freq. coil is likely to give you incorrect readings and possibly limit the performance of the detector.
