I just got a Ace 350 and it has a 6.5x9 coil on it and it is oblong or what I call egg shaped, My other detectors coin is perfectly round.. Did Garrett make there coils this way to better detect trashy areas, as a assume the area they detect would be narrower than a round coil would be.And for trashy areas would a DD coil or a Sniper be best?
