Question about cleaning token...

Old Katz

New member
Someone said use olive oil to clean the token.
Just let soak for a few hours or overnight?

The town outside of Indianapolis where I live is very old. There was indeed an old pool hall upstairs
in one of the buildings. Now I just have to find out what it's name is and if the initials on the token, C&L match the name.

Katz, since it's a token that's been found in the ground and not in "pristine" condition, you can use a brass brush on it and it will clean up very nice. Then put some machine oil on it. This works great! [attachment 169011 3inOneOil.jpg]

Good luck and nice token!
