I looked at the ARA web site and on their FAQ section they said that they do not deal with the general public, it states that you have to have a tax id # or an ein #. I did e-mail them to get some clarification on that but did not get response. Has anybody dealt with them, if so, can you shed some light on that?

They are not open till Monday so can't find out what the scoop is till then. Will let you know.
 
Ive not heard of anyone hear having a problem.... unless uncle sugar is trying to get his hands in our pocket AGAIN with the high gold prices.

I just sold some gold to them two weeks ago,. no problem, I happened to be in town and I walked in and gave them my gold and the check came yesterday.this is two years in a row I have sold to them and they are good to deal with.
 
I have sold to them three times and all three times I have revived the correct amount, I weigh my gold before I send it to them. They will answer all your questions when you call them. It takes about two weeks before you will get your check.
 
I sent 10 grams about a month ago.got a check in less than ten days.Local price (14k) $13/gr-ARA $33gr!
